I have been asked by a cutting edge, continuously expanding, well established and consistently profitable NYC based International Multimedia Information Services leader with prestigious broadcasts on TV internationally, the radio and the internet to identify very Senior level UNIX C programmer UNIX C++ Programmer/Application Software Developer candidates with strong UNIX/C programming or UNIX/C++ programming Multithreading experience with some knowledge/experience with Fortran (the new applications will be interfacing with old legacy code) also with exceptional problem solving skills including excellent written and verbal English communications skills, ideally with financial applications programming experience, bright candidates with a Bachelors, Masters or Ph.D degree or equivalent in Computer Science or closely related field. The selected regionally local Senior UNIX/C Developer or UNIX/C++ Developer candidate with Fortran will join one of the best teams of it's kind with an excellent reputation in the industry for staying current with technology, and providing opportunities for professional growth. Qualified regionally local Senior UNIX/C Application Software Developer or Senior UNIX/C++ Application Software Developer candidates will have five years+ of programming experience, an expert in C/UNIX or C++/UNIX programming including some multithreading with some Fortran experience though it can be many years back (dust off that old Fortran manual), strong analytical skills, and excellent written and verbal communications skills, ideally with financial programming experience. Bright candidates with a Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate - Ph.D degree or equivalent in Computer Science or closely related field.
Qualified candidates will have clear English writing and English speaking skills not requiring repeating during rapid English conversation.
